I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in supporting adolescents navigating anxiety, perfectionism, depression, trauma, grief, identity exploration, and the unique challenges of coming of age in today’s environment. I create a safe, collaborative space where teens can be themselves, be heard, and build emotional awareness, resilience, and confidence. I also work with parents and families to strengthen communication, understanding, and support within the family system.
A meaningful part of my practice is sand tray therapy, an expressive and experiential approach that allows clients to explore their inner world through symbolism, storytelling, and creativity. Sand tray is client-centered and provides freedom, control, and discovery, helping clients process emotions and experiences that can be difficult to put into words.
As a Mexican-American Latina, I practice from a multicultural, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive perspective. My approach is integrative, relational, and skill-based, blending insight with practical tools to regulate emotions, improve relationships, and make values-aligned decisions. Above all, I believe healing happens within authentic, compassionate relationships, and I aim to provide a calm, grounded space where clients feel supported as they explore, grow, and reconnect with their strengths.
